Good Service cover

Surviving the Golden Age gives Good Service

Good Service have premiered their new single “Pocket Calendars” with Surviving the Golden Age.

Writer Adam Morgan describes the track as “with a psychedelic tinge that would make bands like Olivia Tremor Control or Tame Impala proud, ‘Pocket Calendars’ is equal parts strange and engrossing.” That’s high praise!

Read the full premiere here.

“Pocket Calendar” is the first single released from the LP, Please which will be released July 26th.

Kazyak Odyssey cover

Kazyak Pushes The Psych Rock Envelope With The Hypnotic 'Discover'

Minneapolis’ Kazyak have quietly been releasing a prolific canon of music over the past few years. 2017’s Happy Camping and 2018’s Reflection were both worthy of repeat listens. But they’ve really stepped up their game with their upcoming release, Odyssey.

“Discover” is the third single released from the LP and Glide Magazine just premiered it for all the world to hear (and see). Check out the premiere here!

Altobelli Vertigo cover

Nicholas Altobelli takes the Central Track

Earlier today, Central Track premiered the new single from Nicholas Altobelli called “Odd Numbers.”

Writer Eric Grubbs describes the track as “driven by stark piano play and a solo vocal at first, the song eventually takes off with a band arrangement featuring Karyna Micaela on backing vocals, Tyler Martin on electric guitar, Ryan Poole on keyboards, Bert Willis on bass and Aaron Hass on drums. Most impressive throughout the song, though, is that Altobelli comes off as a more confident performer — both as a singer and band leader.”

Vertigo is out August 2nd via Dalton Records.
