Don't Miss This Doc: For The Love of the Music: The Club 47 Folk Revival

“Brilliance” is a word commonly associated with Cambridge, MA, but who knew it was also a wealth of musical genius? For The Love of the Music: The Club 47 Folk Revival reintroduces us to a forgotten springboard of burgeoning Americana. Club 47 was quiet but powerful, a folk music hub from 1958-1968, influencing and inspiring the likes of those who once performed there — Joan Baez, Taj Mahal, Judy Collins, Tom Rush, and Bob Dylan, to name a few. If you have two ears and a heart, make sure you don’t miss this stellar documentary (and badass accompanying soundtrack), premiering on DVD and Blu-Ray April 1.
