Crooked Fingers Joins Team Clermont Summer Showcase!
Eric Bachmann (also of Archers of Loaf) writes, records, and performs songs under the name Crooked Fingers. Though he resides in Los Angeles, he spends much of his time in Athens, GA, where he recorded last year’s brilliant Breaks in the Armor at The Bakery with Matt Yelton (live sound engineer for the Pixies) throughout the winter of 2010/2011, enlisting the help of Liz Durrett on backing vocals. It’s a cohesive and diverse set of songs with less adorned and more direct and affecting arrangements. Beautifully understated, artfully phrased, and ultimately a paean to perseverance, the album seems to suggest that the breaks in the armor are more important than the armor itself.
Crooked Fingers joins our lineup, which includes Bear In Heaven, The Olivia Tremor Control, Astronautalis, Yacht Rock Revue, and more as we celebrate our 15 year anniversary here in Athens, GA!
