Bear In Heaven have unveiled their video for “Sinful Nature”, directed by Yoonha Park. You’ll see some distorted “Pretty Woman”-like characters in a neon-soaked 80s colorfield. Also, be sure to make your plans to come down to Athens from July 26th-28th for our Summer Showcase and Prom! Bear In Heaven will be headlining one night and tickets and three-day passes are available on the Georgia Theatre website.
Still Flyin’ have premiered, thanks to My Old Kentucky Blog, another awesome music video from their forthcoming album On A Bedroom Wall(Ernest Jenning), this time for the song “Spirits”! The album is out on May 22nd in the U.S., and is going for adds the same day.
We’ve been releasing details about our upcoming Team Clermont Summer Showcase & Prom, where we will be celebrating our 15 year anniversary with concerts, a prom, a kickball game, a record fair, and more!
We’ve already announced our two showcases, which will be headlined by critically acclaimed national act Bear In Heaven (Brooklyn, NY) and psych-pop pioneers The Olivia Tremor Control (Athens, GA.)!
The weekend will culminate in a Team Clermont tradition, the Prom, to be held at The Melting Point on Saturday night. A favorite for out-of-towners and locals alike, the Prom takes the attendees back to the times of cover bands, questionable outfits, photo booths and punch bowls, without all of the awkwardness of being a teenager. Today, we announce Yacht Rock Revue as our Prom band, who have prepared a set of 80s cover songs they call “Yacht Rock Revue Presents Reagan Rock Prom”!
We’ve also made available for purchase Three-Day Passes ($25) for the weekend through Ticketbiscuit. Quantities are limited, so be sure to purchase yours now!
We are excited to announce the return of the Team Clermont Summer Showcase and Prom, as we celebrate 15 years of excellence in radio promotion and PR! This will be the first summer festival since our massive 10th anniversary, and we’re putting together the biggest celebration to date.
Over the July 26-28 weekend two showcases will be held at the Georgia Theatre, headlined by critically acclaimed national act Bear In Heaven (Brooklyn, NY) and psych-pop pioneers The Olivia Tremor Control (Athens, GA.)
We’ll be closing out the weekend with our Prom, to be held at The Melting Point on Saturday night. In addition to these events, we will see the return of our highly competitive “K’s vs W’s Kickball Showdown,” and our first ever Record Fair with vinyl goodies at your perusal from our label partners, individual local vendors and community record store friends.
Three day passes ($25) as well as individual tickets ($10 advance, $12 at door) will be available soon!
Team Clermont has secured a block of rooms at a reduced rate at The Foundry, where The Melting Point is located, so you can sleep stumbling distance from Prom! Be sure to let them know you are with the Team Clermont party to receive the discounted rate when booking.

This is the music video for “Happy Pills”, from her latest album, Little Broken Hearts. The album was produced by Danger Mouse, who had previously collaborated with Jones on the 2011 ROME album.
Eux Autres play up their ’60s surf-pop aesthetic in their latest video, “Ring Out”. Crafted from found footage this video tells a tale of crime and punishment. With hands on editing and marker animation, this is a video you don’t want to miss!
