Team Clermont is a TEENAGER!

Hey friends! If you’re around Athens Saturday, come celebrate our 13th Anniversary with us. Team Clermont’s a teenager now, so expect some added sass and a few questionable dance moves. No need to steal a beer from your dad’s fridge for this party. Have your mom drop you off at Go Bar or ride your bike.

Our good friends Snowglobe are coming down from Memphis to play a very rare Athens show, with DJ sets from Twin Powers, DJ Peach Salsa (John Fernandes of Olivia Tremor Control, Circulatory System, and countless other bands), and uRbN tRbN (our own Shil Patel spinning 90s hip hop and projecting Bollywood dance spectaculars). $3 cover to get Snowglobe some gas money.

Three new videos from Asthmatic Kitty!

Asthmatic Kitty has been quire busy as of late, with brand new releases Fol Chen, Shapes & Sizes (who will play POP Montreal this year), and the return of their Library Catalog Music Series! Also, AK has reissued Shannon Stephens’ self-titled debut with two bonus tracks!

In addition to new records, Asthmatic Kitty artists have released several videos recently! Below we’ve posted videos for (the Brian Cox approved) Fol Chen’s “The Holograms”, Rafter’s “No F*cking Around” and Shannon Stephens’ “The Most Delicious Hours” from her previous release The Breadwinner.

Fol Chen – “The Holograms”

Rafter – “No F*cking Around”

Shannon Stephens – “The Most Delicious Hour”

The Flying Change at Rockwood Music Hall This Sunday!

Sam Jacobs a.k.a. The Flying Change has shared some fantastic music with us recently including last years acclaimed Pain Is A Reliable Signal, and 2010’s much dancier Singer/Songwriter. Both releases provide an intimate look at Jacobs’ life, struggles, and personal discovery. Jacobs is still hard at work, and the band is hard at work on their next full length.

This Sunday night at Rockwood Music Hall The Flying Change will be playing a show previewing many of the songs that will be appearing on their next full-length album titled Living at the Movies. It’s a later, more intimate show and they’ll be forsaking all the pageantry for a small ensemble.

The Flying Change
Live at Rockwood Music Hall (Stage 1)
Sunday, July 11th, 11:00pm
196 Allen Street. New York.

As an added bonus, Sam Jacobs has made available the stems from the Singer/Songwriter track “Singer” for anyone to remix! Check out the stems here.
