Fol Chen "In Ruins" Video

Fol Chen's "In Ruins" video filmed at that volcano!

The mysterious Fol Chen have been making waves for a couple months, leading up to the release of their new album on Asthmatic Kitty, the follow up to Part II: John Shade, Your Fortune’s Made. Pitchfork.tv was kind enough to premiere the video for “In Ruins”, the first single from Part II: The New December, out on LP, CD and digital formats on July 6th. This video was shot at the Icelandic volcano Eyjafjallajokull by director Chris Wilcha.

Peggy Sue are playing a song and recording a video take-away style in each town along their tour route. They recorded “Watchman” in Philly yesterday:

Katy and Rosa also did a Listening Party over at Brightest Young Things and you can get read what they have to say about album tracks “Long Division Blues”, “Yo Mama”, “I Read It In The Paper” and “Watchman.”
They’ll be at Pianos in NYC tonight, and will be trekking their way to the West Coast throughout June.
